Common questions

Is PaySlice really free?

Yes. PaySlice is free to download and use, with no ads and no daily limit on how many expenses you add. Splitting, balances, settling up, multi-currency and charts are all included.

Does PaySlice have a daily expense limit like Splitwise's free plan?

No. You can add as many expenses as you like. Splitwise's free plan has a daily cap on new expenses, which its Pro subscription removes.

Can I import my Splitwise data into PaySlice?

Not yet. The simplest switch is to settle up your open balances in Splitwise, then start fresh in PaySlice and invite friends with your invite link or QR code.

What does Splitwise do that PaySlice doesn't?

Splitwise Pro offers receipt scanning with item-by-item splitting, expense search and card transaction import (US only), and Splitwise has a web app. PaySlice is mobile-only (iOS and Android) and doesn't offer those features today.

How does PaySlice handle different currencies?

Each expense keeps its own currency, and balances stay separate per currency. When you settle up, you choose to pay in the original currency, yours, or your friend's, using live exchange rates.

Splitwise is a trademark of its owner. PaySlice is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Splitwise.
